These rules need to be taken seriously, so that everyone can have a pleasant roleplay experience. If anything seems unclear, make sure you ask a staff member, mainly me, to clarify.
- RESPECT AND MATURITY
Show respect at all times towards staff and members. If you must disagree, do so without being completely rude. Present yourself in a mature fashion, so that other members will in turn be able to respect you. Do not confuse maturity with seriousness; you are free to be silly or weird, just not a whiner or rude. Any fights that take place must be in-character. - GODMODE AND POWERPLAY
For those who aren't familiar with these terms, here is a quick vocabulary lesson. Godmode is exactly what the name sounds like: acting like your character is all powerful, invincible, or some kind of superhero. Do not under any circumstances do this. You don't have to take every hit, but you likewise cannot avoid them all. Powerplay is having your character make the moves for the other character you're roleplaying with. For example, "Bob through the ball at Shelly and it hit her in the head." The section in Italics is the part that is powerplay, because it is where Bob decided the outcome of throwing the ball. Now, I WILL allow a LITTLE bit of powerplay, but hopefully it will be unintentional. If you're doing it over and over again, a staff member will say something. - ACCOUNTS
You can only have one human character, and that person is the owner of the horses on that account. Your account name needs to be the name of your person. See the Getting Started post for more information about filling out stuff for your account information. For now, you can have as many accounts as you'd like, but you cannot transfer horses, goods, or money to yourself. - PROPER POSTING TECHNIQUES
Correct grammar and typing skills are highly appreciated. Spell check is there for you to use for free, so use it. No over punctuation, such as "!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" or "" or even "!?!??!!!?!!?!?!" There is no set length for posts, but we discourage "one-liners" or extremely short, unthoughtful posts. If you've temporarily lost your muse, wait until it comes back. Please do not post anything with hard-to-read type, meaning no obnoxious colors or font sizes.
